An account restriction at spin galaxy after a deposit or withdrawal can feel alarming, but it does not always mean your balance has been lost. Usually, the casino has paused activity while it checks identity, payment ownership, account history or bonus play. This guide explains the likely reasons, what information may be requested, and how to respond without making the review harder.

What an account restriction means

A restriction normally prevents some or all account activity for a short period. You may be unable to deposit, play, claim a promotion or request a withdrawal. The account can also remain open while a payment is placed on hold. These actions are different from permanent closure, so read the message carefully before assuming the worst.

Why Spin Galaxy may pause an account

Spin Galaxy’s published checks cover identity, address, payment ownership and, where needed, the source of funds. Its terms also allow a review before a withdrawal is approved. A single or cumulative transaction threshold of €2,000 is named in the verification terms, although the casino may request documents earlier if a payment or account pattern needs clarification.

The review may also relate to duplicate registration, unusual play or a promotion. One real-money account per player is the sensible rule to follow. Shared payment methods, repeated sign-ups or attempts to combine offers can create questions even when there was no deliberate wrongdoing.

Identity and payment checks after a deposit

A deposit restriction often means the casino needs to confirm that the payment method belongs to you. The name on the account, card or wallet should match where possible. A successful deposit does not guarantee that a later withdrawal will pass automatically, because withdrawal checks are usually more detailed.

Documents you may need to provide

Spin Galaxy says it can request photo identification, such as a passport, national identity document or driver licence. Proof of address should be no older than six months. You may also need proof that you own the payment method, such as a suitable statement with sensitive numbers covered. In some cases, evidence about the source of funds may be requested.

Send clear, readable files through the casino’s stated secure process. Do not email full card numbers or passwords unless the official support team specifically explains a secure method. Check that your name and address are consistent across the documents, and avoid repeatedly uploading incomplete images.

What a withdrawal restriction can involve

A withdrawal pause can be caused by identity checks, a pending payment review or a request to return money to the original deposit method. Spin Galaxy lists Neteller, Skrill and EcoCard withdrawals as instant after approval, while Visa and Swift bank transfers are listed at one to three business days. The site also says withdrawals can take up to 72 hours to reflect, so these timings are not guarantees.

Pending periods and withdrawal reviews

The withdrawal policy describes a reversible pending period of at least 24 hours. Requests made between Thursday 05:00 and Sunday 05:00 GMT may remain reversible until after Monday 05:00 GMT. That can look like a restriction, but it may simply be the casino’s stated processing stage.

Payment details can affect the result. A direct bank transfer below NZ$500 may attract a NZ$5 fee. The minimum withdrawal depends on the method, and the general terms list a maximum withdrawal of £10,000 per 24 hours or its currency equivalent. Do not convert that figure yourself when deciding what to request.

Bonus activity and account restrictions

Promotional play can trigger a separate review. The current welcome offer is 150 bonus spins across three deposits of at least NZ$10, with 50 spins on the first deposit, 40 on the second and 60 on the third. The offer has no wagering requirement, but the spins are tied to named games and cannot be combined with another promotion.

How a Spin Galaxy bonus review may work

The casino says it checks play before a withdrawal. Its examples of irregular play include equal bets, zero-margin bets and hedge betting. If the operator believes an offer was abused, it says it may withdraw the bonus, block the account and refund only original deposits. That does not prove a player has broken a rule, but it explains why a balance may be unavailable during an investigation.

Do not assume an attractive spin galaxy promo is a no-deposit reward. The current spins require deposits, and the claim window is seven days from account opening. Daily promotional spins are also linked to deposits and eligibility ends 30 days after the last deposit. Older pages describe a different welcome package, so rely on the current promotion terms rather than archived adverts or a spin galaxy bonus summary elsewhere.

What to do when Spin Galaxy restricts your account

Start with the exact wording of the notification. A request for documents needs a different response from a closure notice or a declined payment. Keep screenshots, dates, transaction references and copies of every message. This record helps you explain the issue clearly if several departments handle the review.

Use the casino’s advertised 24/7 live chat or the support route shown inside your account. Ask which requirement remains outstanding, whether your withdrawal is pending or reversed, and whether further deposits could delay the review. Keep your message calm and specific. Sending several conflicting explanations can make a straightforward check take longer.

• Confirm your legal name, address and date of birth match the account.
• Provide valid identity and address documents through the approved channel.
• Explain the payment method and show ownership without exposing unnecessary details.
• Ask for a written explanation if the account is closed or funds are withheld.
• Stop depositing until the restriction and available balance are clear.

Do not create another account to get around a restriction. Do not reverse a withdrawal simply to keep playing, and do not accept a new offer while an earlier promotion is under review. Those actions may complicate the record and could be treated as attempts to bypass account controls.

Practical takeaway for New Zealand players

An account restriction after a deposit or withdrawal is usually a verification or payment-control step, not an automatic finding of misconduct. Give Spin Galaxy consistent documents, allow for the published pending period, and keep a complete paper trail. Remember that this is an offshore Kahnawake-licensed site, not a casino confirmed as licensed in New Zealand. Players must be 18 or older.
